If you’ve ever had a favorite game vanish from PS Plus before you finished it, you know the pain. You tell yourself you’ll beat it “tomorrow,” then bam — it’s gone. You log in, scroll the library, and that little download icon’s missing like it never existed.

That’s where we’re at again this month. Sony’s quietly rotating another batch out of PS Plus Extra, and if you blink, you’ll miss it. Titles like Battlefield V, Digimon Survive, Football Manager 2024, and Like a Dragon: Ishin! are on their farewell tour. Once they’re gone, that’s it — unless you’re ready to buy them outright.

Here’s what’s funny though: every time games leave the lineup, people get mad, but few actually play what’s leaving. It’s like we love collecting digital trophies just to flex the backlog. Don’t lie — we’ve all done it. We install something, touch it once, and it sits there like digital furniture.

Still, I get it. Losing access stings. Because each one of those games was a chapter of gaming culture that could’ve meant something new to you — if you’d just hit “Start.” So consider this your friendly Gamerhood PSA: play them while you can. Even if it’s just one last session before the credits roll for good.

PS Plus and Game Pass might be changing the way we play, but they’re also teaching us a subtle truth — access doesn’t equal appreciation. The library’s always full… but how often do we really step inside?
